The Story behind the name
There is a word in the old Mykonian dialect, which conveys the entire essence and invaluable worth of friendship: “kamaràdos, kamaràda, kamaradià”. (From the Venetian camarada, probably from the Italian masculine camerato).
In the tradition of renowned Mykonian hospitality, we created this welcoming space, establishing proximity with the island and its people, offering lasting memories. Open, hospitable and true, a space where shared relationships and experiences are authentic.
Our emerald-green pool is situated at the heart of “Camarades”, an open space for communication and socializing. Built with natural materials, using patterns inspired by the famous Delos mosaics, the pool area provides an ideal space for peace and relaxation. With the byzantine hill of Paleokastro on the one side and sea-views of the unique Ftelia Bay on the other, the Mykonian natural ambience can be enjoyed at its best.
Combining medieval architectural elements such as arches and stone-paved flooring with details inspired by the folkloric Cycladic architecture, we created a space which resembles a traditional Mykonian village. Meandering pathways among flower beds full of aromatic herbs and plants of the local flora, spacious and comfortable rooms and suites, in harmony with the natural environment and the human scale.
